Based on CDC definition, children screened were defined as children <72 months who had lead tests, but previously did not have a confirmed EBLL. (NOTE: A child may be screened in multiple years or even multiple times within a given year, but would be counted only once for each year.)
Children with EBLL ≥5 µg/dL were defined as children who had EBLL ≥5 µg/dL and were confirmed in the respective year based on CDC definition.
