High school participation in Career and Technical Education by region in Alaska

Definitions: Percent of high school students who participated in a Career and Technical Education (CTE) program

CTE participants are high school students who have earned credit in one or more approved course(s) in any CTE program area.  

Data Source: Alaska Department of Education and Early Development, data provided by CTE program staff

Student data is collected from school districts that participate in the federal Carl D Perkins grant. This grant does not cover all CTE activities in Alaska, however most public high school students are enrolled in schools that participate in the Perkins grant.
