Definitions:

The number and percentage of children ages 2 to 4 enrolled in the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) with a Body Mass Index (BMI) greater or equal to the 95th percentile for children of same age and gender. The prevalence rate is the percentage of obesity. The denominator for calculating the percentage of obesity is the number of children 2-4 years of age participating in WIC. Records with unknown or invalid data were excluded from the analyses.

*Prevalence rates were suppressed for counties with less than 100 children 2-4 years of age enrolled in the WIC program for the specific data year.
