Definitions: High school youths who texted or e-mailed while driving a car or other vehicle on at least 1 day during the previous 30 days.  The data for this indicator is derived from the High School Youth Risk Behavior Survey.  It measures the percentage of high school-aged youths who texted or e-mailed while driving a car or other vehicle on at least 1 day during the during the 30 days before the survey, as measured among students who had driven a car or other vehicle during the 30 days before the survey.
