Children who speak a language other than English at home in the United States

Definitions: The share of children ages 5 to 17 that speak a language other than English at home.

The Census Bureau advises that due to methodological changes to data collection, comparisons should be made with caution between 2013 estimates on 'Language spoken' and those from prior years.  For a detailed account of those changes see the following document:
