Definitions: Receipt of the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program reflects the total annual caseload during Federal Fiscal Year (FFY).  Percent of Children receiving WIC services is stated as a percent of all children living in a given area during the given year. 

Data Source: Data counting average annual caseloads of the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program provided by the Oklahoma State Department of Health. Population data uses U.S. Bureau of the Census, Population Estimates Division for the year referenced. 

Footnotes: Children receiving public assistance is typically the most current measure of children required to survive on inadequate resources. WIC caseload data is based on Federal Fiscal Year reporting. The Federal Fiscal Year runs from October 1 - September 30.
