Data Provided By

Definitions: Ratio of nurses to student population for each school district. Nurse-to-student ratios of 1 per 750 students (or lower) are defined as "good," 1 per 751 to 1,500 students as "fair," and 1 per 1,500 or more students as "poor." The National Association of School Nurses (NASN) recommends a nurse-to-student ratio of 1:750 as a national standard.
