Definitions: The percentage of New Mexico high school students, grades 9-12, who engage in binge drinking, statewide and by county.
Binge drinking, or episodic heavy drinking, is different from overall drug and alcohol abuse and is defined as having had five or more drinks of alcohol in a row, within a couple of hours, on one or more of the 30 days prior to taking the Youth Risk and Resiliency survey.
