Definitions: Children under age 18 who live with a parent not covered by any health insurance.

The data are based on health insurance coverage at the time of the survey; interviews are conducted throughout the calendar year. 

Data Source: Population Reference Bureau, analysis of data from the U.S. Census Bureau, 2009, 2010, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2021 American Community Survey.
