Data Provided By

Definitions: Numerator: Number of children enrolled in Georgia Pre-K Program from low-income families. Denominator: All children enrolled in Georgia Pre-K program. Rates calculation: 100 times the numerator divided by the denominator.

Footnotes: Note: Children from low-income families are classified as Category One if they participate in one of the following: Food Stamps, SSI, Medicaid, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), CAPS program, or PeachCare for Kids. Children who participate in the free and reduced-price meal program through the center/school also may be counted.  For 2013-2014 and afterwards, children receiving Medicaid or PeachCare are not included as low-income.
