Definitions: The number and percent of mothers who smoked cigarettes during at least one trimester of their pregnancy. Percent is given per the number of live births.

Data Source: The data used for this measure come from Center for Health Statistics, Washington State Department of Health (DOH), Birth Data. Data were retrieved on May 18, 2016 from http://www.doh.wa.gov/DataandStatisticalReports/VitalStatisticsData/BirthData/BirthTablesbyTopic.aspx (Behavioral and Health Characteristics Table B4)
