Definitions: The number and percent of births to single mothers by age group. Figures are divided into six age groups: 15-17, 18-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, and 35 and older.

Data Source: The data used for this measure come from the Center for Health Statistics, Washington State Department of Health (DOH), Birth Data. Data were retrieved on July 28, 2015 from http://www.doh.wa.gov/DataandStatisticalReports/VitalStatisticsData/BirthData/BirthTablesbyTopic.aspx (Demographic Table A11)

S: Data estimate has been suppressed. When the number of single mothers was 5 or fewer, the rates are not shown.
