Data Provided By

Definitions:  The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) is a federally assisted meal program under the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and provides nutritionally balanced, low-cost or free lunches to children each school day. For Connecticut, here are number and percent of students eligible for the Free and Reduced-Price School Lunch (FRPL) Program in a school district or county.

It should be noted that data for this indicator are reported for a school year (i.e., September - August) rather than for a calendar year (i.e., January - December) or a fiscal year (i.e., July - June).
