Definitions: Unduplicated confirmed reports of child abuse and neglect, rate per 1,000 children 0-17 years of age.

Data Source: The rates are calculated using the number of child abuse cases reported by the Hawaii State Department of Human Services and estimates for the total population provided by the National Center of Health Statistics. The data sources are as follows:
