Definitions:
Low birth-weight is defined as a birth in which the newborn child weighs less than 5.5 pounds (2,500 grams). Incidences greater than 0 and less than 5 are often not reported, and instead are listed as N.A. (not available).
The percentages are calculated by the Department of Health Services.
