Definitions: The number of children ages 0-18 in families active in the Food Assistance Program in December. The percent is based on the population ages 0-18 in the prior year.

Footnotes: Wexford and Missaukee are combined for 1999-2003. Grand Traverse/Leelanau and Charlevoix/Emmet are combined for 2003.
