Definitions:
Number and percentage of students considered economically disadvantaged. Rate is the percentage of net enrollment. Economically disadvantaged data are based on a student's participation in one or more of the following federal/state-administered programs: the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP); the Transitional Assistance for Needy Families (TANF); foster care program; homeless, migrant, and runaway. Economically disadvantaged students are eligible for free lunch.

Footnotes: The division of School Nutrition no longer creates Free/reduce-price lunch participation data since 2019-20. The Economically disadvantaged students data series are similar type of dataset that covers limited subset of public schools students' population who qualify for free lunch.
