Definitions: The number of youth (age 24 and younger) who are unsheltered, in an emergency shelter or transitional housing program, staying in a non-permanent housing arrangement ("couch surfing", etc.), or at imminent risk of homelessness, and who are without a parent/guardian
Data Source:
The annual Youth Count DC, also known as the Homeless Youth Census, which takes place over a week and a half in September of each year
