Definitions: Data represent the number and percentage of students from 9th to 12th grade who achieved on-track or mastered score in English during a school year. 

Data Source: Tennessee Department of Education. Kids Count division of the Tennessee Commission on Children and Youth converted district level data to county data using statistical tools. 

Footnotes: State data include state special schools. Number of students who achieved on-track or mastered score in school year 2015-16 was estimated based on participation rates.
