Definitions: Data was queried from the Birth Module matching the birth rate per 1,000 persons during the five year time span, by mother's county of residence. Birth rate is calculated as the number of live births per 1,000 persons (males and females) in the population.

Includes Montana resident births only. Births that had an unknown county are not included.

NA means the rate is suppressed due to one of the following reasons: 1) the relative standard error was greater than 30% or couldn't be determined; 2) the number of events was too small to be appropriate for publication; or, 3) it could be used to calculate another suppressed value.
