Definitions: Children Now used graduation rates from the cohort outcome data for Foster Youth. Due to changes in the methodology for calculating the 2016-17 Adjusted Cohort Graduation Rate and subsequent years, the California Department of Education strongly discourages against comparing the 2016-17 Adjusted Cohort Graduation Rate with the cohort data from prior years. An asterisk (*) appears where there are ten or fewer students to protect student privacy. Numbers and percentages are rounded to the nearest whole number.

Footnotes:
Asterisks (*)
An asterisk indicates that data should be interpreted with caution. Asterisks were used to note low number of events (fewer than 10) or unstable data with large confidence intervals. Data or estimates with low numbers and large confidence intervals indicate that a data point may not be a true representation of the larger population.
