Why This Indicator Matters

Gambling means taking part in any activity or game where you risk money or a valuable object in order to win money or other stuff. Gambling is mostly about chance, although some games can involve skill too. It might seem like gambling is a harmless past time, but gambling can easily become a problem that affects not just the person, but that person’s family and friends too. Gambling can lead to failing marks at school, withdrawal from friends, social activities and events. Encouraging kids to engage in other activities and interests can help them find healthier ways to have fun.
