DC has 39 neighborhood clusters, which vary in size and shape. To ensure accuracy in our estimates, DC KIDS COUNT used block-level population data from the 2010 Census to construct population weights for data at the block-group and census-tract levels. At the neighborhood level, these data represent close estimations.

Because neighborhood boundaries may not align exactly with block groups, some areas lie outside the neighborhood cluster boundaries. These data are reported as non-cluster areas.
