Data Source: Live births 1996-2009: Louisiana State Center for Health Statistics, Louisiana Department of Health.
LNE (Low Number Event) - numbers are not reported when there were more than zero and fewer than five events during the reporting period.
Note that "Total" data includes all racial and ethnic categories (not just black and white) and thus may be larger than the sum of the two racial categories presented here. Data for other racial and ethnic groups were not reported here due to the small number of events in most parishes.
