Definitions: These values represent the percentage of grandparents who live and are responsible for the basic needs of their grandchildrens under 18 years old, basic needs. Including, but no limited to the financial responsability for food, shelter, clothing, day care, among others, regardless the presence of the children’s parents in the household.

Data Source: U.S. Census Bureau. 2008-2012, 2009-2013, 2010-2014, 2011-2015 and 2012- 2016. American Community Survey (5 years estimates).
