Definitions:

Preterm births are babies born with a gestational period of less than 37 completed weeks.

AIAN = American Indian or Alaska Native
NHPI = Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander

NA = Estimates did not meet standards of reliability.

It should be noted that some estimates are based on incomplete data that the CDC did not release to comply with standards of confidentiality and anonymity.  It should be assumed that there is some error inherent in the above statistics.
