Definitions: Number and percent of students in grades PK-12 attending a public school where more than 75% of children qualify for free or reduced-price meals. Public school children qualify for free meals if their family's income is less than 130 percent of the federal poverty level. Public school children qualify for reduced-price meals if their family's income is less than 185 percent of the federal poverty level.
