Definitions: Deaths to children between ages 1 and 19, from all causes, per 100,000 children in this age range.
The data are reported by place of residence, not place of death. Race/ethnic groups represented in this table are not mutually exclusive. The category of White includes only non-Hispanic White. The categories Black or African American, American Indian, Asian and Pacific Islander, and Two or more races include both Hispanic and non-Hispanic. Those in the Hispanic or Latino category include those identified as being in one of the non-White race groups.
