Definitions: The percentage of adult recipients of Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) benefits in New Mexico by race and ethnicity. Data are shown by fiscal year (FY).
The data reflect the race categories cited in the 2014 National TANF Data File: White, Black, American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, and Multiracial; Hispanics may be of any race.
