To calculate juvenile arrest rates per 100 juveniles, divide the number of juvenile arrests in a county by the number of juveniles age 10 through 17, and then multiply the result by 100.



Definitions: Juvenile arrest data includes the arrests of 17 year olds, who in Wisconsin are considered adults for purposes of prosecution. For crime reporting purposes, Wisconsin includes arrests of 17 year olds with juvenile arrests, to comply with federal requirements that require uniform crime reporting policies across states.
