Prevention Needs Assessment (PNA), Survey conducted by Wyoming Survey & Analysis Center
Source Funder:  Wyoming Department of Health, Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services Division.  Funder Website:  http://wdh.state.wy.us/.  For more information:  http://wysac.uwyo.edu/pna

The PNA has been conducted at Wyoming schools in the following years:  2001, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010.  Data presented here is a county level aggregation of school district level data.

The PNA can only be conducted in a school district if the district's Superintendent of Schools signs an agreement to allow researchers to conduct the survey.  As a result, in some years, data is unavailable for a few counties.

Some of the data from the PNA that is presented here results from questions that are also used in the YRBS Survey.  Values between the two surveys may vary and should not be considered comparable.  The YRBS provides only state level data for Wyoming whereas the PNA provides county level data as well.
