Definitions: The number of people under 18 years of age living in a specific geographical area.

Definitions: The number of deaths from all causes to teens between ages 15 and 19, per 100,000 teens in this age group. The data are reported by place of residence, not the place where the death occurred.

Data Source: Puerto Rico Department of Health, Mortality Data Base 2006.

Definitions: The number of families with own children under 18 years of age living in the household. "Own children" includes never-married persons under age 18 who are the sons or daughters of the householder (head of the household). The householders' stepchildren and adopted children also are counted as "own children."
