Definitions: Numerator: Number of low birthweight births to Georgia residents. Denominator: Total number of live births. Rates calculation: 100 times the numerator divided by the denominator.

Definitions: Numerator: Number of births to Georgia teen residents ages 15-19 at the time of the birth. Denominator: Number of females age 15-19. Rates calculation: 1,000 times the numerator divided by the denominator.

Definitions: Percentage of students who entered 9th grade in a given year and received a Regular Diploma four years later.
