Footnotes: Eligibility Criteria for Wyoming Kid Care CHIP

·         Less than 19 years of age
·         A US citizen or lawful, permanent resident who has resided in the US for at least 5 years
·         Not a dependent of a State employee
·         Income eligible
·         Not in an institution
·         A WY resident
·         Not enrolled in Medicaid
·         Not currently covered by health insurance or have had health insurance within the last 30 days (with some exceptions).

Child must live in household with family income at or below 200% Federal Poverty Level. 

Eligibility for Wyoming Medicaid

Recipient eligibility dates:  Between June 1st and June 30th.
Recipient age in years at time of eligibility:  0 through 18
Live in Wyoming
Guaranteed Coverage:
Ages 0-5 up to 133% Federal Poverty Level (FPL)
Ages 6-18 up to 100% FPL
