Poverty -- Children (0-17) (2010)

This indicator has two sources: actual population counts from the U.S. Census Bureau (1989 & 1999), and U.S. Census Bureau, Small Area Income and Poverty Estimates Program (SAIPE) for all other years.

For 1989 and 1999, actual count and percent of related children ages 0-17 living in families with incomes below the official federal poverty threshold. For all other years, estimated numbers of children ages 0-17 living in families with incomes below the official federal poverty threshold.
