Definitions: Percent of children enrolled in HealthChoice (with any period of enrollment) without a dental encounter during the calendar year. The Department of Health and Mental Hygiene's methodology for CY 2010 and future calendar years will analyze all children enrolled in Medicaid managed care and FFS programs, instead of children's managed care enrollment alone ( e.g., CY 2006 - 2009).

Data Source: 2005 and 2006 data from the Maryland Dental Action Committee Report (September 11, 2007). 2007 data from Tables for HealthChoice Dental Access CY2007 Report.
2008 data from Maryland's 2009 Annual Oral Health Legislative Report.
2009 data from Maryland's 2010 Annual Oral Health Legislative Report.
2010 data from Maryland's 2011 Annual Oral Health Legislative Report.
