Definitions: Deaths from all causes to teens between ages 15 and 19, per 100,000 teens in this age group. The data are reported by place of residence, not the place where the death occurred.

Data Source: Puerto Rico Department of Health, Auxiliary Secretariat for Planning and Development, Division of Statistical Analysis.

Note: Maps use the natural break classification method, which reflects patterns in the data by dividing the map into naturally occurring groups. Using statistical tools, this method determines cut-off points for each group by identifying large gaps in data values.
