Definitions: Total number of out-of-home child-care settings that have national or Georgia accreditation (as designated by one or more of the following: NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children), NAFCC (National Association for Family Child Care), Home of Merit, Home of Distinction, Center of Distinction, and Center of Recognition).

Data Source: Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning.

Note: Maps use the natural break classification method, which reflects patterns in the data by dividing the map into naturally occurring groups. Using statistical tools, this method determines cut-off points for each group by identifying large gaps in data values.
