Definitions: Percentage of students who entered 9th grade in a given year and received a Regular Diploma four years later.

Data Source: Office of Student Achievement Report Card www.gaosa.org and Georgia Department of Education.

Footnotes: The year listed is the second half of the school year; for example, 2003 refers to the 2002-2003 school year. Data for all school systems in a county are now combined to provide an overall county number and rate. For counties with one school system, the data have not changed. For school system data, search under “School District” to view the school system-level data on students attending those school systems. For data by specific schools, go to www.gaosa.org.

Note: Maps use the natural break classification method, which reflects patterns in the data by dividing the map into naturally occurring groups. Using statistical tools, this method determines cut-off points for each group by identifying large gaps in data values.
